1. Language Requirements
Portuguese PLA classes are taught primarily in European Portuguese (approximately 80%), with English used to explain instructions and key concepts where necessary. Learners should have a basic understanding of English to benefit fully from the course delivery.
2. Attendance
A minimum attendance of 90% is mandatory for all enrolled learners. Missing more than 10% of scheduled class time may result in removal from the programme, in accordance with awarding body regulations.
3. Participation
3.1 Attend all scheduled sessions on time.
3.2 Complete all activities, homework, and assessments as required.
3.3 Respect teachers, staff, and fellow learners at all times.
3.4 Achieve the minimum pass mark in both written and oral assessments.
4. Online Class Requirements
4.1 Learners must have access to a reliable internet connection and a suitable device (computer, laptop, or tablet).
4.2 Cameras must remain on throughout the duration of each lesson.
4.3 Learners must join classes from a quiet, distraction-free environment.
4.4 Learners must not attend classes while driving, working, or engaged in other activities.
5. Certification
The A2 Portuguese language certificate is awarded only to learners who successfully complete the full 150-hour course, meet the minimum attendance requirement (90%), and satisfy all assessment criteria as set by the awarding body.
6. Timetable Changes
CipleCollege reserves the right to amend class schedules where necessary. Learners will be notified of any changes where possible, and reasonable efforts will be made to minimise disruption.
7. Refund Policy
No refunds will be issued if a learner fails to meet academic requirements, exceeds the permitted attendance limit, or is removed from the programme for breaching any of the policies outlined in this document.
